A water rescue occurred on Hamilton Ave. at the Santa Ana River in Huntington Beach. Numerous streets from Sunset Beach to Santa Ana to Newport Beach were also flooded with 1-3 ft of water. Numerous reports of vehicles stranded in flood waters were received, including half a dozen along Highway 55.
