federal wildfire occurrence database
lists 86 fires within 5 miles of Standish Hall
between 1992 and 2020, burning about 2,844 acres in total. 10 started naturally. 2 were recorded as arson.

Regional context, not property-specific
evidence. The federal mineral resources record lists
6 workings within 5 miles of Standish Hall: 3 producers, 3 unknowns.
3 still produce. What was taken out: Sand and Gravel, Construction, Stone, Crushed/Broken. Distance is straight-line from the
map coordinates, so a quarry counted here may appear on a neighbouring
settlement's page as well.
Regional context, not property-specific
evidence. The National Weather Service names
Standish, the town this property stands in, in 1 storm report in 2025: 1 flood.
No death or injury is recorded in these reports. Each account below is quoted exactly as the forecast office
filed it, from the NOAA Storm Events Database, and each date
opens the federal record of that event.
Minor flooding of the Susan River in Susanville with some agricultural flooding and water over Cutoff road off Highway 395 near Standish. Water remained there and over Mapes and Capazzoli Roads near Standish and downstream impacts along the Susan continued through the end of the year, though were minor with the water reported to be slow and shallow. This water eventually drains into Honey Lake, which is a dry lake basin otherwise.
