Fires near this property
536 since 1992
Regional context, not property-specific
evidence. The
federal wildfire occurrence database
lists 536 fires within 5 miles of Goodman Library
between 1992 and 2020, burning about 5,696 acres in total. 3 started naturally. 33 were recorded as arson.
Distance is straight-line from the map coordinates, so a fire counted

Regional context, not property-specific
evidence. The federal mineral resources record lists
28 workings within 5 miles of Goodman Library: 13 producers, 9 occurrences, 3 past producers, 3 prospects.
13 still produce. What was taken out: Pumice, Sand and Gravel, Construction, Stone, Crushed/Broken, Stone, Dimension. Distance is straight-line from the
map coordinates, so a quarry counted here may appear on a neighbouring
settlement's page as well.
Regional context, not property-specific
evidence. The National Weather Service names
Napa, the town this property stands in, in 7 storm reports between 2004 and 2019: 4 flood, 1 flash flood, 1 hail, 1 lightning.
No death or injury is recorded in these reports. Each account below is quoted exactly as the forecast office
filed it, from the NOAA Storm Events Database, and each date
opens the federal record of that event.
The westbound lane of Imola Avenue at Lernhart Street near South Jefferson Street was closed due to flooding. Heavy rain along with overwhelmed storm drains caused the flooding. Also, minor rock and mud slides occurred across Butts Canyon Road just before the Lake County line.
Hail of 1/2 inch diameter fell in downtown Napa and across the southern part of Napa County. Hail accumulated to a depth of 3 to 6 inches in some places and produced leaf damage to trees and plants in the city.

testing that coordinate against the published boundary of every sheet.

enough to walk or drive between, ordered by distance from this one. Both
positions come from the same geocoding pass that matched these properties
to their map sheets.
