Strong wind combined with heavy rain to force a substantial oak tree to fall at the Hotel Yountville in Yountville Sunday afternoon. The Oak tree was to have been a major focus of the landscaping plan. The tree fell onto a new rock wall and damaged a pump house.
Washington Street was flooded on both sides of its intersection with California Drive for several hours early in the afternoon of December 23. The Napa Valley Wine train shortened its route due to water on the tracks.
