Coronado, the town this property stands in, in 9 storm reports between 2000 and 2024: 3 flash flood, 2 rip current, 2 funnel cloud, 1 lightning.

At least 16 businesses on Orange Avenue sustained flood damage. The PAWS of Coronado animal shelter was flooded, and animals were removed from the garage and transported to other locations. Sewer systems were severely impacted, and residents in the County Club area were urged to not conduct any activity that would discharge water into the drainage system.
Street flooding in Coronado. Both Northbound lanes on Orange Avenue have 3 to 4 inches of water on the roadway. There was 6 to 7 inches of water on 1st Street near the ferry landing as well.
