Heavy rain continued to produce widespread flash flooding. Between 19th and Lombardi, the road was impassable as it was inundated with 15 feet of standing water. Water was reportedly flowing south to north, approximately 40 feet across Arapahoe Road. Lee Hill was impassable as well.
Running water, up to a depth of 12 inches, and 50 feet wide was running across the intersection of 95th Street and Lookout Road near Niwot. The floodwaters forced the closure of Erie Parkway. Later a 4 to 5 ft wall of water, was reportedly observed running through the area.
