The Twenty-third volume of the City Directory includes the ad¬ joining towns of Hamilton and Wenham which have been carefully canvassed. These towns are published bi-ennially on the odd years. Manchester is canvassed bi-ennially on the even years. The net popu¬ lation of Beverly has increased about 700 over 1924, and the directory contains over 58% new or changed matter as compared with the pre¬ vious issue. In the street directory of Beverly and the towns the loca¬ tions of all telephones are shown by an asterisk (*).
