A fallen oak tree took out a main line, cutting electricity to most of Welaka, and additional downed trees interrupted service to residents of San Mateo and East Palatka. The tree fell on the west side of County Road 309 in front of the Blessings Cafe and the power went out in Welaka at about 1 p.m. In San Mateo and East Palatka, a main feeder line and some secondary lines fell along with trees, cutting power to about 1,500 customers.
