Regional context, not property-specific
evidence. The federal mineral resources record lists
6 workings within 5 miles of Dundee ACL Railroad Depot, Old: 3 prospects, 2 producers, 1 occurrence.
2 still produce. What was taken out: Diatomite, Peat. Distance is straight-line from the

settlement's page as well.
Regional context, not property-specific
evidence. The National Weather Service names
Dundee, the town this property stands in, in 3 storm reports between 1997 and 2007: 1 thunderstorm wind, 1 lightning, 1 tornado.
The reports record 1 injury. Each account below is quoted exactly as the forecast office
filed it, from the NOAA Storm Events Database, and each date
opens the federal record of that event.
A man working at his computer was shocked by a nearby lightning strike and was taken to the hospital. Excessive lightning in Polk County also caused a power transformer in Avon Park to catch fire, ignited a tree in Lakeland, and caused minor damage to four homes in the Lakeland area.
Damage photographs and eyewitness accounts from a police officer have determined that a tornado with 80 MPH winds caused damage near Dundee. The track began near the Cypresswood Golf and Country Club then tracked east-northeast across Highway 27 into Dundee where it caused moderate damage to manufactured homes in Dell Lake Village before lifting. Severe of the manufactured homes were uninhabitable due to roof damage. Nine other manufactured homes received damage to awnings, car ports, and parts of the roof.
Thunderstorm winds downed a large tree atop a home in Dundee. The roof of the home sustained minor to moderate damage. Two mobile homes sustained major roof damage from thunderstorm winds at the Royal Oak mobile home park.
