Logan, the town this property stands in, in 44 storm reports between 1994 and 2026: 20 hail, 19 thunderstorm wind, 2 flash flood, 1 tornado.
No death or injury is recorded in these reports. Each account below is quoted exactly as the forecast office

Heavy Rainfall in northwest Iowa in late August led to minor flooding along the Boyer River. The river rose above flood stage in the early morning on the first, and created and fell below flood stage later that morning.
A 58 miles per hour wind gust was measured on a personal weather station. Severe winds at this location persisted for almost 20 minutes, with a 58 miles per hour wind gust also being recorded on a mesonet station 17 minutes later.
Hail up to golf ball-size fell in the Logan area associated with the same supercell thunderstorm that produced a tornado near the area. The hail caused significant vehicle and roof and siding damage in and around town.
Thunderstorm wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph downed numerous trees and large branches in town. The fallen trees caused power outages across town and some areas lost power for around 5 hours.
A tornado reported by an amateur radio operator was also caught on film by a veteran storm chaser who described the tornado as having rotating dust swirls directly under a bowl shaped lowering and rotating mesocyclone. The tornado apparently touched down in open country and caused little or no damage.
