“The Chicago and Northwestern Depot is a former railway station in Wilmette, Illinois, which has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1975. The station served the Chicago and North Western Railway along what is now Metra's Union Pacific North Line.”

June 2010	Lightning	Wilmette	$100,000	Lightning struck a house which started a fire. The house was engulfed in flames.
September 2006	Thunderstorm Wind	Wilmette	$30,000	Nineteen large trees and numerous tree limbs were blown down. One tree went down at 13th and Lake Streets, crushing a fence and breaking a window. A house and two cars were damaged when a tree fell on Amherst Lane.
July 2015	Lightning	Wilmette	$15,000	A garage was struck by lightning on Sheridan Road resulting in damage to the bricks and chimney.
August 2011	Thunderstorm Wind	Wilmette	$2,000	Winds estimated to 40 mph caused a large branch to fall onto a car trapping a motorist near Gross Point Road and Park Place. No injuries were reported.
August 2022	Thunderstorm Wind	Wilmette	-	A photo shared on social media showed a tree limb hanging from power lines in the 3100 block of Hartzell Street.

July 2011	Thunderstorm Wind	Wilmette	-	A 74-inch diameter tree known as the Bicentennial Ash was blown down in Gillson Park.
