| When | Event | Place named | Harm | What the report says |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| March 2017 | Tornado (EF1) | Broseley | $500,000 | Peak winds were estimated near 100 mph. This tornado passed across Highway 51 about a mile south of Broseley. A farm machine shed was leveled. Numerous other sheds or small structures were damaged or destroyed. Large irrigation piping was blown hundreds of feet in varying directions. Farm implements were blown over, and two camper units were rolled over. At least four houses received minor to moderate damage to roofs, siding, and windows. Numerous trees were uprooted. There was also some spotty straight-line wind damage to outbuildings and trees just north and east of the tornado track. This tornado was the first of several that were spawned by the same eastward moving supercell. |
| October 2013 | Tornado (EF1) | Broseley | $100,000 | One mobile home was overturned. There was shingle damage to one home. Another home sustained partial roof loss. State Highway AA and many county roads were impassable. At least one house on Route AA was flooded again. A shelter was opened for evacuees in the path of the floodwaters. About 50 homes along Highway AA and nearby county roads were notified to evacuate. The flooding from this levee break was much less severe than the original break that occurred during the March 18 record flood. Numerous low-lying fields and bottomlands were underwater. Farmland south of Poplar Bluff was flooded. |
