The subscriber, therefore, cautions all perioni from telling any of the above mentioned goods or medicines, within Iho Stales aforesaid, unless legally authorised us his tub-agent; and fiom purchasing the inme from, car paying any monies to any persons whomioerer, except the subscriber or siih-ngrnts, ns he will hold nil others personally responsible. He hereby requests all persons who hare contracted with said Jocelyn, as sab-agen's for the sale ol the above medicines, nr who are individually indebted for the same, by note, book account, or other otherwise, - wise, otherwise, to settle with the subscriber, as Agent for Ii. S. Vtont, and as he shall still employ siih-agenti for the sale of said medicines, lie will he disposed to continue such as base been engaged in the business, prosided they render a prompt and correct account of their agencies, so far as they have already acted.
