Statement of significance

Captain James Riley, world traveler and author, and his son James Watson Riley surveyed northern Ohio, Indiana and Michigan of the-Old Northwest Territory after in 1843. His son, Calvin Erastus, was born in 1830 and came to the Celina area as _built this elaborate Queen Anne house.
