Further Description of Important Features This irregular residential building of medium scale is distinguished by its mixed wall treatment and decorative porch construction.
The second story and gable end exhibit various shingle patterns while the first story and paneled bay are clapboard. Within the crotch of the "L" are two porches; an entrance porch of four angles exhib- 43. History and Significance This residence is totally unaltered and is in remarkably good condition. Moreover it is significant as a model for the eight similiar houses that are adjacent and because of its style and scale. 44. Description of Environment and Outbuildings The house is located on a steep hillside and above a deteriorating ashlar retaining wall. The foundation is quite wide on the facade. 45.
