Further Description of Important Features Originally a single (or 1 1/2 story) Window with flat arches and radiating voussoirs. Second story and kitchen wing was added after 1842 to make a simple Greek Revival structure with plain boxed cornices. 1856 MAP SHOWS PRESENT L SHAPE. 3. History and Significance Built by Charles Sells, a hatter, secret Dublin's Founder. Oldest Brick house in area, one of the three oldest buildings in Dublin. Enlarged by Dr. Eli Pinney, Dublin's second doctor (1832-1890s). One of the few buildings in Dublin to show Greek Revival characteristics. Reported to have been a stop on under-ground railroad.
