Distance from and Frontage on Road 42. Further Description of Important Features This church has a pipe organ put in about 1900. Polished wood main altar from 1860 still there. Walls are frescoed with ceiling painting in center of church. Names of donors of stained glass windows in German. Outside, the old brick can be distinguished from later addition. Peculiar square pilasters on the corners of facade are topped with slate capitals and contain 43.

History and Significance A second generation Catholic church. This settlement is early-1848-Catholics went to Minster for mass until their log church was built in 1852. The village has not grown, and the church retains much of its originality. 14. Description of Environment and Outbuildings around 1900, the Archbishop said all pastors must reside at the parish. Rectory was built at St. Anthony and a parish schoolhouse. The schoolhouse has been enlarged and is to the south. The frame rectory is across the road to the north. 5.
