Further Description of Important Features roof has been replaced with extreme overhang on S. side, covering large wood gable end. original structure has std. 4' double hung windows on each side. beam on S. side is deeply recessed with paneled embrasure + plain stone lintel. Photo (laves) photo looking N 43. History and Significance Built by Samuel Davis for his son James after he married. Anson was a Revolutionary War veteran and early settler in the Township. The house + springhouse are all that remains of a once extensive farmstead. 44.
