- excellent X unaltered X original site x good - moved * fair homestead, Squire's Glen, is located south of Central College and is individually 7121 Sunbury Rd. This fine little 1½ story frame residence was built by Reverend covered roof. The distinctive feature is the beautiful, refined entrance flanked at the north end of the house. Two of the interior mantelpieces are intact. The one in the living room features the center of the mantel. The bedroom mantelpiece in the bedroom is much simpler added to the rear of the building. Reverend Washburn moved to Central College in 1833 and lived in this house until Church in Blendon Township and Blendon Institute and Central College. Sunbury Rd. This home was built in 1841 on land donated by Timothy Lee for use as a parsonage for the Presbyterian Church.
It is a 2 story wood frame building (now covered with aluminum siding) with a gable composition covered roof. outstanding feature is the entrance with sidelights, pilasters, entablature sash while the remainder are either 8 over 8 or 6 over 6. The house originally faced south but was moved back from the road 100' and turned to face Sunbury and has been in the Zimmer family since 1938. It is constructed of brick on a stone foundation with a composition roof. glass window with "Central College Presbyterian Church 1870" in it is located first and second levels of the tower with louvered round arched openings above. are stained glass and set within recesses in the wall surface. Description of the property

Central College is a small, unincorproated village in northeastern Franklin County. Originally named Amalthea, the village was platted in 1849 by Timothy Lee who by flattened, engaged columns and a highly decorative entablature and frieze. Heart shaped and fluted fan motifs decorate the entrance. The six panel door is the same flattened engaged columns as the front door. A fluted fan motif dominates with square pilasters and raised rectangular molding. A one story addition was his death in 1873. He was instrumental in the development of the Presbyterian- Central College Presbyterian Church This well preserved church was completed in The church measures 3 by 3 bays. The entrance is located in the center bay of above the double six panel doors. Blind arches are located on the sides of the is located at the rear of the roof ridgeline.
