Statement of significance

until 1902. Peters, a native of Atlanta, came to Cincinnati in 1881 to become the Superintendant of the Cincinnati, Lebanon and Northern Railroad. Obviously industrious in the railroad business, Mr. Peters was also active in civic affairs. He was the Vice Club and the Queen City Club. During the 1890's, Peters contributed some of the land death in 1923, he was the president of this railroad line. The next occupant of the house, James McCrea, was also a railroad superintendant.
