State Route 315 runs along the east property line. The Olentangy River runs north-south approximately 200 feet from the nominated property. Delaware Creek is located several feet north of the building.

A portion of the creek bed closest to the house has been reinforced with a limestone retaining wall. The nominated building is powered mills, and 4 farmhouses associated with mill owners. The nominated building is topped by a gabled roof made of standing seam metal with are constructed of coursed rubble limestone, and the corners feature rusticated stone quoins. Fenestration consists of 9/6 and 6/6 windows framed by operable wood shutters and plain sandstone lintels and sills. The front elevation has three entrances on the first floor and a door on the second level. There is no evidence of a front porch or a second story balcony. The interior floorplan originally contained two rooms on the first floor and four rooms on the second floor. These levels are connected by a double kite winder staircase. The first floor has exposed limestone walls with black walnut woodwork.

Ceiling and original hardwood floors are intact, as is a fireplace with a mantel and updated firebox. The second floor has four bedrooms with hardwood floors and finished walls and Alterations consist of a one-story rear addition, one partitioned bedroom, and two wall historic appearance of the property. The rubble limestone foundation underneath the rear addition appears to have been built at the same time as the main building indicating the presence of an earlier addition or a one-story rear porch.
