“Brotherhood Winery is a winery located in Washingtonville, New York, in the Hudson River Valley approximately 50 miles northwest of New York City. It was founded in 1816 by a French immigrant, Jean Jacques, and produced its first commercial vintage in 1839; as such, it is commonly acknowledged to be the oldest operating winery in the United States.”

In Washingtonville, Democracy Ln. and Freedom Dr. were closed due to flooding. Mandatory evacuations were ordered in Washingtonville Manor and Brookside Acres as well as on Patricia Ln., Beverly Ln., Cardinal Dr., Peacock Circle and W. Main St. due to flooding of Moodna Creek.
Moodna Creek overflowed its banks causing flooding of first floor residents and businesses on Route 208 as well as Route 94 near Washingtonville High School.
