The heavy rain caused a mudslide that partially buried two cars in the parking lot at six Harbor Park Drive in Port Washington. Another mudslide on Bay Ave. near 16th Ave. in Sea Cliff resulted in the evacuation of two homes after a retaining wall overlooking Hempstead Harbor collapsed taking the backyard and patio of one residents home with it.
