“Rosendale Common School, also known as Niskayuna Grange Hall No. 1542, is a historic school building located in the vicinity of Niskayuna in Schenectady County, New York. It was built about 1850 and is a three-by-five-bay, timber-frame building on a limestone foundation.”

NWS Albany Meteorologists contacted the Schenectady County Warning Point to seek more information about flooding from an ice jam that had been reported on by a local news team. The warning point relayed that Rosendale Road was closed between Mohawk Road and Niskayuna Road due to the same ice jam.
A tree along Troy-Schenectady Road (New York State Route 7) in Niskayuna was struck by lightning. As a result, the tree fell and downed power lines as well. The road was temporarily closed due to the downed tree and wires.
Thunderstorm heavy rainfall led to flash flooding in Niskayuna. Fire department crews rescued two people trapped in a vehicle surrounded by high water on Merlin Drive in Niskayuna.
