Numerous roads were closed across Schoharie County due to flash flooding. These included, but were not limited to, Creek Road to Esperance and to the Montgomery County line, Treadlemire Road to Middleburgh, Junction Road, Zicha Road, Sanatarium Road to Esperance and Schoharie, Benninger Road, Barton Hill Road, Sheldon Road, and portions of Route 30.
A trained spotter recorded a wind gust of 74 MPH during a thunderstorm in the village of Schoharie. The wind downed one tree at this spotter's location as well.
Roads were closed within the village of Schoharie due to flash flooding. A state of emergency was declared and travel was strongly discouraged due to debris blocking roadways within the village.
