Heavy rainfall led to flooding across portions of Dutchess county. Several roads were closed, including Route 199 near Red Hook, Route 292 in Pawling, and Route 22 in Millerton.
A strong cold front moved through eastern New York during the evening of April 24th resulting in severe thunderstorms across parts of the area. Thunderstorm winds downed trees and power lines across parts of Sullivan, Ulster, and Dutchess Counties. Hardest hit were the towns of Pawling and Marlboro where over 5,000 customers were left without power.
