“The Primitive Baptist Church of Brookfield, also known as the Old School Baptist Meeting House, is located along US 6 in Slate Hill, New York, United States, a hamlet of the Town of Wawayanda in Orange County. It was built in 1792, when the settlement was known as Brookfield.”

Emergency Services reported flooding in Gardnerville due to 6-12 inches of running water over County Route 12 at Gardnerville Road. The road was briefly impassable.
In Washingtonville, Rt. 208 was closed south of Rt. 94 due to flooding. NY State Rt. 211 was closed in both directions between Kaisertown Rd. and Rt. 416 in Montgomery and US 6 was closed in both directions at highway 284 in Slate Hill also due to flooding.
As a severe thunderstorm moved from Northern New Jersey into Orange County, New York, it produced damaging winds that knocked numerous wires down, resulting in the loss of power for portions of Slate Hill.
