The Hudson River at North Creek reached moderate flood stage between 0404EST 1 November and 0152EST 2 November, cresting at 11.83 feet at 1100EST 1 November. The high waters cut off homes along East Hudson River Drive, prompting at least one evacuation.
A National Weather Service Storm Survey determined that a brief EF0 tornado occurred in the village of North Creek. The tornado was accompained by a microburst, which occurred to the south of the tornado track. The tornado tracked for about one mile, beginning near Route 28 in North Creek and moved north-northeast. The tornado lifted after crossing the Hudson River on Bird Pond Road. Most of the damage occurred to hardwood and softwood trees along the path, with the only damage to structures due to fallen trees. Video evidence of the tornado was provided by a local resident through emergency services.
The Hudson River at North Creek rapidly rose due to runoff from the very heavy rainfall from thunderstorms. This resulted in up to 4 feet of water flowing over the low points of Old River Road cutting off access to a dozen households.
Old River Road in North Creek was closed due to flooding with water levels ranging from a few inches up to almost 4 feet. Some residents were evacuated.
