“Hughson Mansion was a historic home located in the Hamlet of Loudonville, Town of Colonie, County of Albany, State of New York. It was built between approximately 1866 and 1883 and was a large Second Empire style frame dwelling.”

September 2015FloodLoudonville-Heavy rain led to flooding in Colonie's West Albany section. Flooding occurring near the confluence of the Patroon Creek and Sand Creek, causing flooding homes on Sumpter Street. About 20 people have to be evacuated until water was able to recede. Although flooding occurred, local media reported it wasn't as bad as in past years. According to newspaper reports, this area has flooded about a dozen times in the past 15 years.
