Many trees and wires were reported down throughout Middletown, causing multiple accidents. One tree landed on a garage, causing it to collapse, resulting in one injury. In addition, a piece of the roof of Middletown High School was blown off, protective tiles covering the football field were damaged, windows were blown out at some commercial buildings near the High School, and at least one tree fell on the roof of a car.
In New Hampton, I-84 was closed at Dolson Ave. due to flooding. Additionally, a portion of Dolson Ave. was closed due to flooding, including the intersection of Dolsontown Rd. and Dolson Avenue. Basement flooding was also reported in Middletown.
Numerous basements had to be pumped in residental areas of Middletown and Washingtonville due to flooding. Route 78 near Aspin Rd and Wisner Avenue were also closed due to flooding. The ASOS at Montgomery Airport, KMGJ, recorded a total rainfall amount of 2.55 inches.
