“Old Saratoga Reformed Church is a historic building at the junction of Burgoyne and Pearl Streets in Schuylerville, Saratoga County, New York. It is part of the Reformed Church in America and was built in 1857 in the Greek Revival style.”

A cold front moved south from Canada into the Saint Lawrence Valley late on the 2nd of June resulting in severe thunderstorms across parts of eastern New York. Thunderstorm winds downed trees and power lines across parts of Madison, Oneida, Chenango, Otsego, and Saratoga Counties. Especially hard hit was the Westerville area in Oneida County where many roads were closed by fallen trees. In Saratoga County trees fell on a home in Wilton causing extensive damage to the home, while a motorcyclist was injured when a large tree limb fell on him in Saratoga Springs.
Trees and wires were reported down in Schuylerville due to thunderstorm winds. The downed trees and wires closed a part of Broad Street in the village.
High water levels on the Hudson River closed a portion of Wrights Loop Road in Saratoga County on Wednesday January 10th.|The river level at Schuylerville crested at 92.3 feet, which was 2.3 feet above the flood stage of 90.0 feet at 7 AM on Wednesday January 10th.
