physical object with a catalogue
number, and each entry opens the museum's record. This is what was
collected and kept, not a survey of what lives here - nothing can be
concluded from a species being absent.

Cuba, the town this property stands in, in 32 storm reports between 1993 and 2025: 24 thunderstorm wind, 6 flash flood, 1 hail, 1 flood.
No death or injury is recorded in these reports. Each account below is quoted exactly as the forecast office
filed it, from the NOAA Storm Events Database, and each date
opens the federal record of that event.
An isolated thunderstorm produced damaging winds that downed a 75 foot pine tree. The tree fell onto a house resulting in structural damage to the roof and second story. An outdoor gazebo was also flattened by the tree.
Thunderstorms produced high winds and torrential rains during the afternoon and evening hours. The strong thunderstorm winds downed trees and power lines. Scattered power outages were reported. The torrential rains caused some poor drainage flooding. In Olean, underpasses were flooded with waist-deep water.
