“Lithia Park is the largest and most central park of Ashland, Oregon, United States. It consists of 93 acres (38 hectares) of forested canyonland around Ashland Creek, stretching from the downtown plaza up toward its headwaters near Mount Ashland.”

March 2011	Thunderstorm Wind	Ashland	-	Numerous trees were broken or uprooted when the squall line went through. ODOT reported Oregon Highway 62 was closed by fallen trees. A house, shed, and mobile home in Rogue River were destroyed by falling trees. Another house was destroyed in Jacksonville.
August 2009	Hail	Ashland	-	Most of the hailstones were nickel sized, some were quarter sized. The larger ones measured 11/8 inches in diameter.
