July 2013Thunderstorm WindMelbern-Emergency management officials reported strong winds impacted a moving train near the town of Melbern. A few dozen empty train cars were pushed off the tracks. No injuries were reported. In addition, numerous trees, tree limbs and power poles were damaged in the town.
June 2009Flash FloodMelbern-Law enforcement officials reported several roads with water flowing on them, some a foot deep in areas, as thunderstorms dropped two to four inches of rain over a short period of time.
