Thunderstorms that produced locally five to seven inches of rain inundated the east side of Columbus during the evening. Street flooding occurred from Bexley north to Gahanna with numerous road closures. Several homes in Bexley neighborhoods had flooded basements, with high water forcing 25 families out of their homes. Seventeen structures sustained major damage from flooding.

Description of the property
of the L is a service wing with kitchen and pantry.Bedrooms are located on the room was added at the rear of the main block in 1956.Twin half-timber gables were steeply inclined gable roof.A small single story wing has been added as a guard The garage and servants' quarters is designed in a half timber styling and hase a room for the Ohio State Highway Patrol. square opening with an elongated metal and glass lamp is on either side of the door. The Governor's Residence is located on a wooded city street lined with early 20th The rear of the lot is open lawn and a small cluster of trees is at the rear _ unaltered to the next street at the rear. The house is positioned in the front third of the smooth face quoins and a smooth stucco finish. Two 2½ story bays are located on the facade.
The left bay projects slightly from the main wall and has a Tudor room. With the exception of the newer garden room all these rooms have stained oak central entry hall features a wide 2-flight stairway with carved wood balustrade. deteriorated half-hexagonal projecting wooden bay.Both bays have steeply pitched gables.
