Manchester Township
This census was started on 5 June 1880 by J B McLucas, Enumerator. The information in this booklet was copied from microfilm records on file in the Kate Love Simpson Library(Morgan County Library System) in late 1993 and early 1994. The Kate Love Simpson Library is located in McConnelsville, Ohio. A legend of abbreviations used in this booklet appears in the introductry material to the booklet. A double number appears with each family with the first number representing the residence on Mr McLucas' route and the second number the family. For example, 1-1 is the first residence and the first family. 5-6 is the fifth residence and the sixth family (Two or more families frequently lived in the same residence).
