April 2019Tornado (EF3)Center1 killed, $1,000,000The EF-3 tornado damage mainly consisted of snapped pine trees indicative of high end EF-1 damage but much more severe EF-3 damage was discovered northeast of Weches. The most severe damage occurred to a double wide trailer that was destroyed and thrown over 150 years from its original foundation. The one female occupant of the trailer was killed. The path width was as wide as a half mile in places. The tornado continued into Cherokee County and was on the ground for more than 40 miles.

A double wide trailer was destroyed and pushed back into a wooded area at the end of the tornado path. The four occupants of the trailer were injured. Damage scar apparent on satellite data. April 2014Tornado (EF1)Lovelady1 hurt, $120,000A tornado touched down in Lovelady near a mobile home area then tracked for just under a mile before lifting near Lovelady High School. The worst damage occurred to mobile homes near the start of the track. Two large trees were uprooted and fell onto one mobile home which sustained severe damage to the central part of the structure. This mobile home was moved off its foundation but remained upright. The resident was at home but suffered only minor injuries as she was not in the part of the home that was most severely damaged. Another single wide trailer adjacent to the first damaged mobile home was rolled off its foundation. A third trailer about 50 yards toward the north northeast had its roof peeled off. This damage was rated EF1. Minor damaged occurred at Lovelady High School where some ceiling panels were lifted off near an the entrance area and numerous large limbs were stripped off trees. This damage was rated EF0.
December 2012Tornado (EF3)Fodice$700,000The worst of the tornado damage, rated EF3, was along Highway 287, or one mile north of the town of Pennington. An agricultural feed store and restaurant were completely destroyed with the debris scattered off toward the east in a field. There was severe damage to several homes and trailers along the path of the tornado that was indicative of either EF1 or EF2 scale damage.
June 2005Tornado (F1)Grapeland$275,000Tornado moved from southwest to northeast across Grapeland. Ten residential homes had patio, roof and chimney damage. Windows were blown out of the south side of the library. There was roof damage to six downtown businesses. Numerous trees were down on vehicles and over twenty power lines were down throughout town.

The most severe damage occurred on the northeast end of the track where trees were stripped of limbs, vehicles were tossed and stacked upon one another and a double wide trailer home was destroyed.

Several buildings were moved and some were rolled. Bay doors were blown in and out at additional area businesses. There was also damage to sheds, feeders and business signs. Large air conditioning units on roofs were damaged too. Downed trees caused minor damage to three homes. Power lines were also downed.

June 2010Tornado (EF1)Wheeler Spgs$75,000Tornado touched down on ranch land over west-central Houston County, south of route 7 and just east of the Trinity River. Numerous hardwood trees were downed or snapped along the damage path. Two salt mineral feeders were moved. Rancher reported 2200 pound bull was lifted and thrown into an adjoining pasture. The tornado moved north-northeast, crossing route 7 and moving near a rock quarry where it removed two large signs and split a tree in the middle of a field. It then continued another mile north northeast where it crossed County Road 2065 where it downed trees and uprooted trees and damaged a shed. The roof was damaged on an old building.
