He suffered minor to moderate injuries and was treated and released at a local hospital. The max wind speed was estimated at 105 mph. The tornado cross the Neches River and dissipated in the forest.

Numerous roads were flooded along with a few homes in the Barlow Lake neighborhood just south of Steinhagen Lake. A secondary higher peak from the event did not occur until early June.

While it was crossing FM92, it ripped off part of the metal roof of a small rural grocery store. Eyewitnesses saw the tornado at the Corp of Engineers office across the street. The sheet metal from the roof was blown into the COE park and damaged several picnic areas, and snapped off several more trees.

One home had a tree land on it and a tree landed on a SUV. Several homes had minor damage to their siding. The peak winds in the tornado was estimated at 105 MPH. The path was 1.3 miles long and 600 yards wide.

October 2013Flash FloodDoucette$40,000Heavy rain in training thunderstorms fell across Tyler County and neighboring Jasper County for multiple hours. Near 6 inches fell during the event. High rainfall rates produced quickly rising water that flooded some streets around Woodville and briefly flooded the lower portion of one home with an inch and a half of water. Minor flooding was also reported at Wolf Creek at Highway 96.
March 2025Tornado (EF1)Doucette$25,000The tornado began roughly 0.5 miles west of HWY 287 where several trees were damaged along with some outbuildings. The tornado then continued northeast where it damaged a home, an outbuilding was destroyed, and several pine trees were snapped at the trunk. Two by fours were impaled into the roof of the home as well. Roughly 30% of roof was peeled off of the home. The tornado then continued east towards HWY 287 where tree damage was found near Little Cypress Creek. This was the end of the Little Cypress Tornado. Max estimated wind was 95 mph.
May 2016Flash FloodRockland$25,000Heavy rain fell across central and northwest portions of Tyler County with 3 to 6 inches of accumulation common. This fell on already saturated from storms around one week earlier. The excessive amount of rainfall caused the Lake Amanda Dam to fail which drained the lake and caused downstream evacuations along Wolf Creek. Numerous roadways were flooded during the event as well including Highways 69, 190, and 256 near Woodville.

March 2017Tornado (EF1)Hillister$20,000Multiple trees were blown down along FM 1013 east of Hillister, on both the|north and south sides of the road. The peak winds in the tornado was estimated at 105 MPH. The path was half a mile long and 300 yards wide.
April 2016Thunderstorm WindWoodville$20,000Widespread tree and power line damage occurred around Woodville. Many trees had large branches broken or were up rooted. The vast majority of the trees fell to the east. One mobile home had a tree fall onto it just west of Woodville and the occupant was injured when the tree fell. A building near the intersection of Highway 69 and North Charlton had roofing material removed along with windows blown out.

December 2022Tornado (EF1)Hicksbaugh$15,000Several pine trees were damaged along with a few hardwoods. The tornado reached maximum intensity near County Road 4600 where a few pine trees were snapped within it's trunk. At this same location, a BBQ shack was heavily damaged along with an awning that was completely destroyed. A pontoon boat was ripped off of its trailer, and thrown approximately 25 yards into a pine tree. Two mobile homes also sustained minor damage along County Road 4600. Estimated maximum winds were 90 mph.
December 2014Tornado (EF1)Spurger$15,000A tornado touched down near FM highway 1013 west of Spurger and snapped the tops of several pine trees off. When the tornado moved to County Road 4394 two homes received minor damage to the roofs with some shingles taken off. Several trees were snapped near the base of them and a couple of sheds and barns had some metal roofing material peeled off. The tornado caused more damage to two more homes on County Road 4375 where roofing shingles or tin were partially blown off the homes, carports, and garages. More trees along this road were also snapped at the base facing north. The tornado dissipated shortly thereafter. This same storm produced the tornado in Jasper County in the Rock Hill Community.
