As it approached County Road 2610 and FM 1756 a semi truck was knocked over, and a 4000 pound cattle feeder was blown about 850 feet to the north-northeast. Two structures on the southeast side of Truscott-Brine Lake received roof and window damage. Utility poles were broken from the area just southeast of Truscott-Brine Lake to State Highway 6, including steel utility poles that were bent. The tornado weakened and then dissipated after crossing Highway 6.

October 2006FloodTruscott-A moderate flood crest occurred along the North Wichita River near Truscott, TX in northern Knox and southern Foard counties on October 16-17. The North Wichita River crested at 18.3 feet, 4.3 feet above flood stage, at 6:30 pm CST on October 16, and remained above flood stage from 1:00 am CST on October 16 to 9:00 pm CST on October 17. Flooding of agricultural lands along the river occurred during this event.
May 2005Tornado (F1)Truscott-This tornado was observed by several experienced storm chasers and the mobile radar, Doppler On Wheels (DOW). The tornado became better organized around 1740 CST as observed by the chasers and the DOW information. Preliminary analysis of data from the Doppler On Wheels indicated a maximum wind velocity of 49 m/s (approx. 110 mph) at 1745 CST just before the tornado dissipated. This tornado occurred in a remote part of the county where no damage was reported.
