The project to photograph and measure the Lawrence County Court House at Moulton was undertaken because of plans to destroy the building. Two-storey Doric pilasters are on all four sides of this square structure, A two-storey frame cupola crowns the roof. To the east projects a small one storey wing, which is probably a later addition. The building possesses some good moulding profiles, drawn on the Historic American Buildings Survey sheets.
