Mulberry, the town this property stands in, in 58 storm reports between 1993 and 2025: 26 hail, 26 thunderstorm wind, 5 flash flood, 1 tornado.
No death or injury is recorded in these reports. Each account below is quoted exactly as the forecast office
filed it, from the NOAA Storm Events Database, and each date
opens the federal record of that event.
This tornado developed on the west side of Mulberry, where trees were uprooted and homes were damaged. The tornado moved east across town, uprooting more trees and snapping large tree limbs before dissipating east of town just south of Highway 64. Based on this damage, maximum estimated wind in the tornado was 85 to 95 mph.
Severe thunderstorms moved across northwest Arkansas during the early morning of June 12th. Strong thunderstorm winds downed power lines in Prairie Grove, and numerous large tree limbs were blown down in Winslow, 4 miles northeast of Lee Creek, and at Devils Den State Park 6 miles northeast of Lee Creek. Dime size hail fell at Mulberry.
