“The Dardanelle Methodist Church, formerly the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, is a historic church at 100 North 2nd Street in Dardanelle, Arkansas. It is a brick building, constructed in 1891 and extensively altered into its present Prairie School appearance in 1917.”

The tornado was witnessed and photographed by a visitor to a nearby state park.
April 2004	Tornado (F1)	Dardanelle	-	As one weak tornado dissipated in northern Yell County, another one formed 4 to 5 miles southwest of Dardanelle. The new tornado caused mostly tree damage, with trees downed or snapped. The tornado eventually tracked into southern Pope County.
