Tuba City, the town this property stands in, in 16 storm reports between 1996 and 2024: 5 flash flood, 5 heavy rain, 4 funnel cloud, 1 hail.

Heavy rain caused street flooding in Tuba City with water entering homes. Highway 89 had water and debris on the roadway. Water was flowing in Moenkpi Wash.
Heavy rain from a severe thunderstrom caused flash flooding over Highway 160 southwest of Tuba City. The road was closed until the flood water wend down and the road could be cleard of debris.
Sustained winds of 60 to 70 MPH with higher gusts were reported in Tuba City. Roof toops were blown off some houses and windows were blown out of a grocery store. Structure damage and minor injuries from airborne debris were reported from severe straight line winds. Many small branches, and some branches, and a few trees were toppled from the winds. The damage covered a broad path of about two miles wide across Tuba City. Power was knocked out from Page to Tuba City to Kayenta.
Heavy rain caused flooding on Highway 160 between Tuba City and Highway 89. The road between Tuba City and the Tuba City Airport also flooded. Both roads were closed.
Heavy rain caused street and house flooding in Tuba City. Extensive flooding was reported in 30 to 40 homes. Indian Route 618 and Blue Ridge Road had several washouts that stranded people. A funnel cloud was also reported in the area. Heavy rain continued into the early morning hours of September 11. Some paved roads washed out with deep gullies carved in some dirt roads. Earthen dams were close to failure and pumps were being used to decrease that danger.
