The Evangelical Congregational Church, Hingham Centre.' - In the month of August, 1847, Rev. E. Porter Dyer, upon the invitation of the Norfolk Conference of Churches, visited Hingham, aud inquired into the practicability of establishing Evangelical Congregational preaching in this ancient town.
