September 2013HailPine Cove$1,000The spotter was in Idyllwild traveling on Highway 243 to Pine Cove. There was 2 deep of 0.5 hail and 1-3 of water flowing across Highway243. Broken tree branches were all over the roadway from hail damage. A nearby COOP observer reported that the roads turned white, all covered with accumulating hail.
