Homes along Lucreita Ave. were damaged by the flood, which was 5 feet deep in spots. Further south, about 100 horses had to be rescued as the Santa Ana River inundated the River Trails Riding Stable in Norco with deep water. Some horses were neck-deep in floodwaters before they could be led to safety.
