Later around 2:30 pm, a spotter near 103rd Street and 84th Avenue southwest of Ocala measured 6 inches of rainfall between 8 am and 1 pm. At 3 pm, a spotter near Northeast 36th Avenue and Northeast 35th Street recorded 5.85 inches of rainfall between 8 am and 3 pm. At 3 pm, the county emergency manager reported numerous roads were flooded in and near Ocala. At the time, there were no road closures. No property damage estimate was available, but a default of $1,000 was entered which may account for road repair in the wake of the flood. |
