The Jaudon-Bragg-Snelling Farm is historically significant in the area of agriculture as representative of Southern rural farming methods, and architecture as representative of the saddlebag house type. Description: The house is a ca. saddlebag type house with a side-gable metal roof and a central interior chimney. It has asbestos siding, a front porch with a dropped hipped roof, and six-over-six double-hung sash windows. The interior features original mantels and paneled doors. The setting is rural and residential. The landscaping is informal with large hardwood trees and three outbuildings. The four crib barn is ca. The outstanding characteristic of this barn is its log construction. The barn and com crib is also a ca. outbuilding. The single crib barn has a shed addition.
The building is of wood construction and has a tin covered large sloping gable roof. The smokehouse is a ca. building according to the owner. It has a front gable roof, frame construction, and a tin roof. History: Henry Jaudon built the house and barn on a 100 acre tract. The house was later sold to Watson Bragg, who lived on the property from about to the early On twenty acres of the property, he farmed com and cotton. The house is now owned and occupied by Charles and Joyce Snelling.
