August 2010	Tornado (EF4)	Doran	-	This tornado began in Richland County, North Dakota, at 625 pm CDT, where it had a path length of 2.5 miles. It continued in Wilkin County, Minnesota, where it finally lifted about 2.5 miles southwest of Doran. The total path length was roughly five miles and peak winds were estimated at 175 mph.
June 2009	Tornado (EF0)	Doran	-	A brief tornado touchdown in an open field just east of highway 75 was reported to the sheriff's office. Peak winds were estimated at 80 mph.
August 2005	Flash Flood	Doran	-	Two to four inches of rain caused the Doran Slough to flood. The slough spread across fields and farm access roads mainly south of county highway 158 and west of U.S. Highway 75. Roadbed and field erosion was evident southward to state highway 55.
