Description of the property

Statement of significance

In 1811 Nahum Ward came from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts to settle per- manently in Marietta, Ohio. He rapidly bought up land - about 37 Having been an adherent of the Unitarian Church, he set about founding a church of that faith in Marietta in 1855.
